2017 sees WestRock PMA Packaging Systems celebrate their 10th anniversary in style as they enter a new stage of progression.
From humble beginnings in 2007, founding directors David Hayward and Doug Reilly, have grown WestRock PMA Packaging Systems over the last 10 years into one of the UK’s leading innovators, manufacturers and distributors of high quality, future proof packaging machinery and systems. Founded in 2007 WestRock PMA began operations in a small business unit. During that first year the firm foundations of innovative ideas, quality products, combined with excellent service and support, were laid and soon rewarded with the successful installation at their first blue chip company. By 2009 WestRock PMA Packaging Systems was in such high demand that it upgraded to larger premises, which enabled an increase in production and turnover of almost 400%. And they haven’t slowed down. From 2009 to the end of 2016 production and turnover increased further, with an average yearly growth of 75%. Entering 2017, and still building on original foundations, WestRock PMA now provide machines, solutions and service to companies all over the world. “WestRock PMA Packaging Systems provide first class UK service and support in the Food, Homecare and Ecommerce sectors. We pride ourselves on our UK manufacturing and production of quality machinery at affordable prices. With turnover consistently increasing, we hope to push all our subsidiaries to become completely self-sufficient,” says David Hayward managing director and co-founder. Things are only going up for WestRock PMA Packaging Systems, with an ever growing UK and world-wide customer base, the company has continued to expand to some 35 staff and Suffolk based premises has more than doubled in size to over 11,000ft2 to include three workshops, design, sales, service and spares offices and a brand new showroom.
